Eyal Levit

Doctor of Medicine,

Black Belt of Taekwondo and Karate

Recommendation letter for Yevegeniy

I had the pleasure of knowing Yevegeniy and his amazing family for 18 years. I have always known him as a serious passionate humble individual who cherishes honesty and friendship, but never realised his deep mastery of the martial arts, physical training,Yoga, and massage.

What amazed me most was his talent and depth of knowledge as a master of Karate Shotokan Style (He is a 4th degree black belt).

As a past participant and champion of many national international and junior olympic competitions in Tae- Kwon-Do and few in Karate, I have had the pleasure of meeting and training with the best trainers and olympic coaches. And yet how much I did not know I only discovered when I began training with Yevegeniy. Yevegeniy is hands down one of the best I have ever had the opportunity to meet or train under. Yevegenie’s ability to explain and simplify the most complex moves and techniques and present you with a fun and clear road map to concur them leaves me often speechless.

What is more unusual is his willingness to share these secrets that took him decades to learn from his teenager years to now, having fought and won against the people who ended up, due to connections, taking his well deserved place in the USSR team winning world championships in his weight category.

In the short time I have started to practice again with Yevegeniy my Kime (the explosive energy of my art) has increased and his abilities to find the weak spots in my technique and teach me how to repair them have made me achieve things I could not have done on my own.

His knowledge of the body’s anatomy and Yoga have made him able to know when to push and when to tell me to rest so that I will prevent damaging my muscles and health. My Chi and technique has improved dramatically since I started training with him.

Through my request he was kind enough to take on the senior class of the middle school and teach them Karate. The kids love it and have become more disciplined and self confident. They love him and are very grateful to me for having introduced him to them. They are now in the process of setting a school team to compete and represent the school. All this he achieved in only 3 months of a once a week training.

My only regret is that I did not have the opportunity of his instructions earlier.

With deep gratitude and best wishes, Eyal Levit, MD
